Anna looks like she should be drinking a mint julep (virgin of course =) ) and betting on horses in her pretty hat. She knows how to accessorize too -- that's her 2008 gold medal from gymnastics that she wears on special occasions =).
This deer had a ton of room to roam but preferred to rest where the children could pet her.
Ben all chilled out as usual =)
Anna loves trains and when we left the zoo she said " bye, I love you train"
We had a little birthday party for Anna and Ben together at a local pizza place when Grandma and Grandpa Rasmussen were out here visiting from Minnesota. Benji didn't really know what was going on except that he was getting a lot of attention but Anna thought the pizza party was the best thing ever ... it was really cute.

One of Ben's favorite things to do lately is climb in Anna's toddler car seat like he's a big boy!
Anna all dressed up like usual. She rarely passes on the chance to wear a "pretty dress" and a flower in her hair.
Grandpa and Grandma Rasmussen gave Ben blocks for his b-day but the box that the blocks came in are even better!

Do you cats climb in the box with Ben? I bet he would like that. Our cat loves boxes; we have been downsizing possessions and Ginger has to romp in each box
Meanwhile, Anna is so stylish! I love it. Her hair is getting long and is so pretty.

Our cats love empty boxes but not with Benji in them =). "Gentle" is not in his vocabulary yet so he is not so popular with the kitties =).
